Tehran, Feb. 03 (SENA) - TSE’s well-known logo, registered in the early days of operation, has remained unchanged for half a century. A round-shaped logo with geometric curves inside inspired by a brass artefact, dating back to around 550 BC in the Achaemenid era. The artefact is currently being exhibited in Louvre museum on behalf of Iran National Museum.

According to Deputy for Issuers of Tehran Stock Exchange, Rohollah Hosseini, Iranian authorities have requested the temporary relocation of the artefact by the end of the current Iranian year (ends March 20). It will remain in Iran National Museum for 4 months during which Tehran Stock Exchange will provide commentary tours for interested parties. “Louvre museum has also promised to provide TSE with an exact replica of the artefact to be kept at TSE’s headquarter,” Hosseini mentioned.

It was first discovered in Lorestan province and shows four men hand in hand in a circular world. The world attaches on two cow horns, which according to myths, are the symbols of wealth and productivity. The artefact represented economic efficiency and prosperity.
