Tehran, Apr. 09 (SENA) - There is less than seven days to the beginning of 11th round of Exchange, Bank and Insurance Exhibition in Tehran International Exposition Centre, April 16-19. As always, many affiliates, entities and practitioners of the main three parts of Iran financial system will be participating in the event. Many of the Iranian state-owned and private banks have finalized their presence in the exhibition. “The banking industry is a pillar of the Iranian financial market so the banks involvement in this event is essential,” Said Hojatolah Seidi, CEO of Bank Saderat. “The banks can seize the opportunity to introduce their latest services to their customers and to report their financial status and possessed resources to their audience.”

Outlining the broad agenda of Bank Saderat in the event, the CEO went on to say that this event attracts interested parties, experts and of course general public so the banks can benefit by building a long-lasting connection with their target audience which requires their strong presence during the event.

There have been positive developments for banks since the implementation of the landmark nuclear deal between Iran and the so-called P5+1 group, which promised to ease international sanctions against Iran in exchange of the country to curb its nuclear activity. The sanctions in their last stage were targeting the banking system, disconnecting it from the rest of the world. “Following JCPOA banks managed to use more international lines of credit, reestablish to some extent their connections with the international banking system and transact currencies easier. Accordingly, banks can focus on presenting all these developments throughout the exhibition,” he added.

On the other side, the banks and the capital market has a lot of areas to work on mutually. Some financial products e.g. mortgage-backed securities are a direct result of both pillars working together. The CEO underlined that his event can bring together people from these two areas and strengthen their cooperation.
